Om Sri Shirdi Sai Travels

We are over at 162 HAL 2nd Stage, on Narayan Dhuru Street. If you’re familiar with the area, we’re quite close to the Isolation Hospital. It’s a landmark that everyone knows, so it makes finding our street a bit easier. Our office is a small room where we keep the car keys and the duty logs. We spend a lot of time waiting for drivers to check in or for the phones to ring with the next booking. Outside, the street can be quite busy with people heading towards the hospital or the main HAL roads. We have a few chairs for people to sit in if they’re waiting for a ride, but most people are in a hurry. The walls have a few calendars on them and maybe a picture or two, but it’s mostly just a functional space. We don’t have any big corporate backing or fancy apps. It’s all done through phone calls and writing things down in a notebook. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands, especially the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the traffic. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but we just keep at it. It’s a simple life, running cars from one side of the city to the other. We’ve been in this part of HAL for a while and we don’t really see ourselves going anywhere else. It’s where we belong.
