Offbeat Holidays

We’ve been at this spot on Cunningham Road for some time now. Vasanth Nagar is a busy area but we like it here. It's usually just two or three of us in the office most days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or computer trying to get bookings sorted out for people. Sometimes people just walk in to ask about a trip they're thinking of taking next year, and we sit down and chat. We don't have a big fancy office, just 22A, which is easy enough to find if you know where the post office is nearby. Most of what we do involves looking at maps and checking flight times for people who want something a bit different than the usual tourist spots you see in magazines. It gets a bit loud outside with the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a while. We started doing this because we like seeing where people want to go. It’s not always easy, and things change fast in the travel world these days. We just try to keep up with all the paperwork and make sure every booking is confirmed before anyone leaves their house. If you stop by, you'll probably see stacks of brochures and a few half-drunk cups of tea on the desks. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have a big corporate team or a marketing department, just us here in Bangalore trying to get things right for the next person who wants to see the world.
