Our place is right on 50 Feet Road in Kumarswamy Layout, specifically the 1st Stage. It’s a pretty well-known road in this part of Bangalore, so it is easy for people to find us at number 1619. We’ve been here for a bit now, watching the trees grow and the traffic get heavier every year. The shop is where we spend most of our waking hours. We handle things for different events and occasions, hence the name we picked out. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We are often seen unpacking crates or trying to figure out how to display something new in the front window so it doesn't look cluttered. Kumarswamy Layout has a nice feel to it, a mix of families who have lived here forever and students from the nearby colleges. We get a bit of everyone coming in. Some days are really quiet, and we just sit and talk about the news or what’s happening in the neighborhood. Other days, everyone seems to come in at once and it gets a bit hectic. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to keep the shop running and make sure we have what people are looking for when they have a celebration coming up. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we like being part of the local street.
