Oam Computers

We've been here on the second floor of Electronic Plaza for quite a few years now. If you know Sadar Patrappa Road, then you know it gets pretty crowded around here, especially being so close to M G Road. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at. We’ve got stacks of monitors and old keyboards everywhere you look. Some days it feels like there isn't enough room to walk between the desks, but we know where everything is kept. People come up the stairs looking for all sorts of things, mostly wanting their laptops fixed or looking for a specific cable they can't find elsewhere in the market. It’s a bit noisy with the fans going and the street sounds coming up from below, but we're used to the hum of the city by now. We just sit at our benches and work on whatever equipment comes in. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or opening up computer cases to find the problem. We don’t really do much advertising around here. People usually just find us because they were already in the plaza or someone told them we were on the second floor. It’s a simple life for us. We open up in the morning, deal with the crowd, and close up when the plaza shuts down. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. That’s just how it goes here in the Camp area.
