Our office is up on the 4th Floor of Surya Chambers in the Subramanya Nagar MIDC area. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we would like. We have been here at this location for quite a while now. The space is filled with desks and a lot of computer monitors because we do a lot of back-office processing and data work. It is not a very glamorous job but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The MIDC area is always full of trucks and people moving things around, so there is a lot of energy outside. Inside it is a bit quieter, though the air conditioner makes a constant humming sound. We are just a regular team of people trying to keep up with the daily tasks. We don't have a big reception area or fancy paintings on the walls. It is just a functional workspace with some files tucked away in cabinets and a small corner where we keep the water cooler. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of work to finish before the month ends. We know the other people in the building and usually see them during the lunch break. It’s a straightforward operation and we just focus on doing our bit every day. Being in Subramanya Nagar makes it easy for most of the staff to commute.
