If you are looking for Novon Technologies, you’ll find us in Puthupally, which is a quiet part of Kottayam. We run things out of the Nedumparambil house. It’s a typical Kerala setting with plenty of trees and a bit of a slower pace than the big cities. Jisha Iype started this up and we’ve just kept it going from the home office. It’s not like those big tech companies in Kochi or anything. We mostly work on our projects here and deal with people over the phone or through emails. The post office is nearby, so getting mail is easy enough. Sometimes the rain here in Kerala makes it hard to get out, but we stay busy inside. It’s a small operation, just a few of us really. We don't have a big staff or a cafeteria; we usually just have coffee in the kitchen. The house is a bit old but it’s sturdy and has enough room for our equipment. People in the village know the family, so they know where to find the office. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the work we do. It’s a peaceful place to think and get things done without too much noise. We’ve been in Puthupally for quite a while now and don't see ourselves moving anywhere else soon. It’s just how we like it, working from home and doing our best every day.
