Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian Cruise Line has a presence here in Bangalore, located at number 27 on the 5th Cross in S.B.M. Colony. It might seem strange to have a cruise line office so far from the ocean, right in the middle of Karnataka, but this is where we do our work. The colony is a relatively quiet residential area, which is nice because it keeps the noise down while we are on the phone. We don't have a big flashy showroom or anything like that. It is just a regular office setup in a local building. Most of our time is spent looking at schedules and trying to coordinate things for people who want to go away on trips. Bangalore is 560054 for our postal code if anyone is sending us letters. The office has a few desks and some old maps on the walls. It’s a bit dusty in the corners because we focus more on the work than the cleaning. We are just a small group of people working here, so it gets a bit personal and casual. We wear regular clothes and drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long shifts. It is not like the movies where everything is perfect; we have piles of paper and sometimes the internet drops out. We just do our best to keep things sailing along from our landlocked office in India. It’s just us doing our daily jobs.
