Nityananda Biswal

My name is Nityananda Biswal and I run the Dhyana Yoga Kendra. We are located on 1st G Cross in Subanna Garden, right behind the old B.T.S Garage in Vijayanagar. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, but that makes it quieter for what we do. Bangalore can be so noisy, so being tucked away behind a garage is actually a good thing. The building is simple and doesn’t have any big neon signs. I’ve lived around Vijayanagar for years and I like the feel of the neighborhood. The pin code is 560040 if you’re looking it up on a map. I spend my mornings and evenings teaching, and the rest of the time I’m just maintaining the place. It’s a lot of sweeping and keeping things tidy. I don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. People usually find out about me through word of mouth from their neighbors. It’s just a local place where people can come and sit for a while. I try to keep things grounded and practical. There isn't any mystery to it, just regular practice. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, but we manage. I’m usually there every day, just doing what I’ve always done. It’s a peaceful way to make a living in a crowded city. I remember when the garage was a lot louder than it is now.
