I’ve got my setup on M G Road here in Bangalore. It’s probably the most famous road in the city, so everyone knows where it is. I’ve been here for a good number of years. My day usually starts with the sound of the metro and the traffic outside. It’s a very busy place to work, but I’ve always liked the vibe of it. I don't have a massive office or a whole floor to myself. It's just a practical space where I can handle my affairs. I mostly work on my own, taking care of whatever projects come my way. I don't really spend money on advertising or anything like that. I think if you do your job properly, people eventually find out. I have my own way of doing things, which might not be the most modern way, but it works for me. I use a lot of paper and I still like to write things down by hand. There’s something about M G Road that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of everything that matters in Bangalore. I see people from all walks of life walking past every single day. Some days are slower than others, and I might spend more time drinking tea and looking out at the trees than actually working. But when there’s a deadline, I stay until it’s done. It’s a simple life, and I’m quite happy with how things are going. I don't need much more than my desk and a good connection to the city.
