We've been at No. 126 Anayappa Garden for a while now. Most people know us because we're right by the 1st Cross, just a short walk from the MLA house in New Thippasandra. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. We spend most of our time dealing with fabrics and stitching. It gets a bit noisy with the machines going all day, but that’s just how it is in the apparel business. We started out small and stayed that way for a bit. There’s always a pile of clothes somewhere in the office. People come in asking for all sorts of things, and we try to get it done. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic, which is a headache. We aren't fancy. There’s no big reception area or anything like that. Just us working on the orders that come through. My desk is usually covered in thread and scraps of paper. It’s a regular job. We open up in the morning, check what needs doing, and get to it. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have a big batch of shirts to finish. New Thippasandra is a good neighborhood, and we’ve gotten to know the people around here over the years. We just keep our heads down and handle the sewing and the packing. The traffic on the 1st Cross can be a bit of a mess during the evenings, but that’s just how it goes. We usually try to finish up before the worst of it starts and head home.
