New Mayuri Fancy & Gift Centre

Our shop, New Mayuri Fancy & Gift Centre, is right near the Ganesh Temple here in Doddaballapur. Being at number 12, we get a lot of people passing by after they visit the temple. It’s a nice spot because there is always a bit of energy in the air. We keep a lot of different things on the shelves, mostly stuff people need for small celebrations or just little things for the house. It gets a bit crowded inside sometimes when we get a fresh delivery and haven't put everything away yet. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the feet walking in and out, but that’s just a sign people are coming in. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights like the big malls. It’s just us and the items we have for sale. Doddaballapur is a place where people talk to each other, so we spend a lot of time just chatting with whoever comes in. Sometimes someone is looking for a specific gift and we have to dig through the back to find it. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. The bells from the temple are a nice sound to have in the background while we work. We just try to be helpful when we can and keep the shop running smoothly. It is a simple business for simple needs. We just open up every morning and see who comes through the door.
