This is the spot for New India Hotels, even though our address says we are in Ariyalur Post, Sankarapuram, in the Villuppuram district of Tamil Nadu. We are tied to the name S. Ramanujam, son of S. Malliga. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here if you are used to the big city, but we have been set up in this area for some time. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s more of a local business that we run ourselves. The building is simple, and we don't put on any acts for anyone. We have some rooms for people who are passing through the district and need a place to stay. It’s a quiet part of the state, much different from the noise of Bangalore. We spend our days making sure the place stays clean and that the guests have what they need. We don't have a website with professional photos. What you see is what you get when you show up. Most of the work is done by hand, from washing the floors to keeping the ledger. Sometimes it gets really hot here, but we have fans and some shade to help out. We’ve been part of this community for years, and we just keep going day after day. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. We don't need any big fuss or flashy signs. We just want to provide a place for people to rest. It’s been our family way for a long time now.
