New Empire Studio

If you are looking for New Empire Studio, we are at No.42 in the G S Royal Arcade. That is right on Avenue Road in Bangalore 560002. It is famously opposite the Kamat Hotel, so if you smell sambar and filter coffee, you are probably close to us. Avenue Road is always a bit of a mess with people and carts, but it has its own energy. Our studio is inside the arcade, away from the direct sunlight of the street. We have been here for a long time, taking photos of families and kids. The space is filled with old frames and some cameras we don't even use anymore. It’s not a modern, glass-walled office. It feels more like a lived-in room. We have a couple of backdrops and some lights that have seen better days but still work fine. Most days, we are just waiting for the next person to walk in needing a passport photo or a portrait. The 560002 area is where we grew up, so we know most of the faces around here. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people seeing our sign and coming in. It is a straightforward business, and we like it that way. We just keep our camera ready.
