Neelakant Atpatkar Chartered Accountant

I’m Neelakant Atpatkar, and my accounting office is over in Peenya 1st Stage. If you know Bangalore, you know Peenya is a huge industrial hub, so there’s always something going on nearby. My workspace is right in the middle of it all, which makes sense given the kind of work I do. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls or modern art. It’s just a practical space where I can focus on audits and tax computations. The walls are lined with thick binders and reference books that I’ve collected over the years. I usually spend my mornings catching up on emails before the real work begins. The industrial area can be quite loud with all the machinery and trucks moving around, but I’ve learned to tune it out. Most of my clients are people working in the nearby factories or running small workshops. They don't want a polished corporate experience; they just want someone who can handle their books correctly. I do a lot of the work myself, so there’s often a bit of a backlog on my desk. It gets quite busy, especially towards the end of the quarter. I try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone who walks in. It’s a lot of long hours and sometimes frustrating math, but it’s my way of contributing to the hustle of Bangalore 58. It’s just a regular office.
