Navodaya Solaris

Navodaya Solaris is located at number 66 on the 2nd Main in Ranganathapura. To get here, you usually have to navigate your way off Magadi Main Road, which is always packed with people and vehicles moving in every direction. Our street is a bit quieter than the main road, but not by much. We have a small gate that sometimes squeaks when you open it. Inside, it’s mostly just us working with solar equipment and trying to keep everything organized. The space is filled with the smell of metal and a bit of dust that comes in from the road. We have a couple of old chairs for anyone who needs to sit down, though most of the time we are on our feet moving things. The ceiling is high, which is good for the heat, but it makes the room echo a bit when we talk. We’ve got a small calendar on the wall with dates marked off in red pen for various tasks. Outside, the neighborhood is full of houses and small shops, so there is a real local feel to the place. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog comes and sits by our door for a bit of shade. It’s a very basic setup, nothing like those shiny offices you see in the city center, but it’s where we do our work every day and we are used to it.
