Our place, Navkar Hybrid Seeds Pvt. Ltd., is found at number 447 on Church Street, which is in the 3rd Cross of Cauvery Nagar in Murugeshpalya. It’s a bit of a long address to write down, but once you find the right street, we aren't hard to spot at all. We work with various types of seeds here. Most of the time, the building is filled with large bags and small packets ready to be sent out to customers. It’s more of a warehouse and office mix than a regular retail shop you'd see in the market. We spend our days checking the inventory levels and making sure the packets are labeled correctly before they leave. The staff is quite small, and we all know each other pretty well. We sit at basic desks and deal with the paperwork that comes with moving seeds across the different regions. The floor is made of grey concrete and we have big metal shelves reaching all the way up to the ceiling. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the roof, so we keep the big doors open to let some air in from the street. We aren't trying to be anything big or flashy. We just focus on getting the right seeds into the right bags for the people who need them. Local folks sometimes come by to ask questions about the crops or pick up their orders directly from the counter.
