Our spot is on Jaya Chamarajendra Road, right at number 38. If you know the area, you know how hectic JC Road can get with all the traffic and the noise from the shops nearby. We’ve been here long enough that we don't even notice the honking anymore. Navdesigns is really just a bunch of us sitting around computers trying to make things look decent on paper or a screen. We have a couple of drawing boards too, though they don’t get as much use as they used to. The walls have some old sketches pinned up, mostly stuff we did years ago that we just never took down. There’s always a half-empty cup of coffee sitting on someone's desk. We aren't the type of place that has a big shiny lobby or a secretary. Usually, if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around, but it works for what we do. We spend our mornings responding to messages and the afternoons are for the actual design work. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We like being in this part of the city because everything you need is just a short walk away, even if the pavement is a bit uneven. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us here at the office.
