I’ve been running the shop here at 21/2 Gandhi Nagar 4th Phase for quite a few years now. We are tucked away in the 4th Main of the 3rd Stage in Banashankari, right across from the Indian Overseas Bank. It’s a familiar spot for most locals because the bank is such a big landmark. The space is a bit cluttered with rolls of vinyl, old banners, and scraps from previous advertising jobs we’ve finished. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background while I work on layouts or cut out letters for signs. It’s not a high-end agency with glass walls; it’s just a place where we get things done. My desk is an old wooden one that’s seen better days, and there are coffee rings on most of the notebooks. The 4th Cross can get quite noisy with the school kids and the local traffic, but I don't mind it much anymore. We handle whatever comes our way, whether it’s a small nameplate or a larger display board for a local store. Sometimes customers come in just to sit and talk while we work on their orders. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we don't feel the need to be all corporate about it. We just focus on making sure the text is straight and the colors look okay before the customer picks it up. It takes time, but that is how we do it.
