Our shop is Nandi Belts & Novelties, and you can find us at 11 Arcade on 1st Cross BB Street. We are right in the middle of the City market area in Mamulpet, specifically near the BBT Temple. If you have ever been to Mamulpet, you know how crowded and hectic it can get. There are always people moving about and bells ringing from the temple nearby. We’ve had this spot for a good while now. We sell belts and all kinds of novelty items that people seem to need. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves. Every morning we open up and start rearranging the boxes that came in the day before. It’s not a polished store with big displays; it’s more of a practical place. We know most of the other shop owners in the arcade, and we usually grab a tea together when things are slow. People come in looking for specific things, and we do our best to find them in the piles. The heat can be a bit much in the middle of the day, so we mostly just sit by the fan and wait for the next customer. We don't do any big advertising or anything. Most of our business is just folks walking by or people who have been coming here for years. It’s just how we do things at Nandi Belts & Novelties.
