It's a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s not too bad. Mysore is a nice city, much quieter than Bangalore, which is why we like it here. The hotel isn't one of those massive places with hundreds of rooms. We have a few floors and we keep things pretty straightforward. Gayathripuram is a decent neighborhood, mostly houses and some small shops around us. We get people coming in for work or just visiting family in the area. The rooms are what you’d expect for the price, nothing too flashy but clean enough to sleep in. We have a small staff, mostly local guys who have been with us for a year or two. Sometimes the water pressure in the showers isn't the best on the top floor, but we are working on fixing the tank. It’s a busy street during the day, so there’s always some noise from the autos and scooters passing by. We don't have a big restaurant, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. It’s a practical spot for someone who just needs a place to stay while they are in town for a few days. We try to keep the lobby tidy and the fans running.
