Nagesh T V. 57 Basavanagudi Puttanna Road 1st Floor. My office is on the first floor here in Basavanagudi. It is an old part of the city, and I really like the vibe of Puttanna Road. It feels a bit more traditional than the newer areas. I have been at number 57 for a while now. The building isn't anything modern or flashy, just a solid place where I do my work every day. Being on the first floor is nice because I can see what is happening on the street below without it being too loud. People in Basavanagudi are usually in a hurry, but they still stop to say hello if they know you. I usually have a few files piled up on my desk that I need to go through. It is mostly quiet work, nothing too exciting. I take my tea breaks around four o'clock, usually just getting something from the small stall nearby. The office gets a lot of light in the morning, which I appreciate. I try to keep things simple and honest. I don't see the point in making things complicated. Most of the people who come to see me are locals who live a few streets away. They know the building and they know where the stairs are to get to the first floor. It is a comfortable routine that I have built up over the years. I don't plan on moving anytime soon because this spot suits me just fine. It's home.
