Being right on Brigade Road means there’s never a dull moment. Nagaraj R C is located at 116, on the first floor of Brigade Garden, which you can get to through Church Road. It’s a bit of a contrast once you step inside from the crowded sidewalks. Outside, everyone is rushing and there’s music coming from the shops, but up here on the first floor, it’s just our regular work environment. The building has that classic look to it, and we’ve been here long enough that the creaks in the floorboards feel familiar. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to open the door for you. You just come in and find us. The windows look out towards the garden area, which gives us a bit of green to look at during the day, even if it’s mostly just trees and some benches. It’s a practical setup. We have our desks, our files, and a small area where we keep the kettle for tea. Sometimes the traffic on Church Road makes it hard for people to find parking, so we usually tell them to come early or use the side lanes. We’re not trying to impress anyone with a polished office. We just want to do our work and go home at the end of the day like everyone else. It’s a busy life here, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We usually lock up around six in the evening.
