Jayanagar 6th Block is one of those places that still feels like old Bangalore in some ways. My place is at number 312 in Jayanagar West. It’s a fairly quiet corner compared to the busy markets in the 4th block. I’ve been operating from here for quite a while now. The streets are lined with big trees, which makes the walk to the office quite pleasant even when the sun is out. Inside, it’s just a standard setup where I take care of my business affairs. I don’t really believe in having a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. A sturdy desk and a good chair are enough for me to get through my list of things to do. Most of the people I deal with are from the surrounding blocks, so it feels very much like a neighborhood operation. Sometimes I spend the whole morning just catching up on emails and phone calls. It’s a steady kind of life. There is a small park nearby where I usually take a quick break if the weather is nice. I don't have a big staff, so it's mostly just me managing the day-to-day stuff. You might see me out front sweeping the walkway or chatting with the neighbors. It’s just a normal, everyday kind of place where I put in my hours and then head home to my family. The pace is slow but we always manage to get everything finished before the day ends.
