Nagaraj Gowda

My name is Nagaraj Gowda and I run things from here at 14 Ramamurthy Nagar. The building is called Nagendra Nilayam. We are quite close to the Vijaya Bank, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. This place has been my base for a long time. It’s a quiet residential area mostly, but it’s grown a lot recently. I usually start my day with a cup of tea while I look over what needs to be done. The office isn't anything special, just some chairs and a sturdy table. We have some plants outside that I try to water when I remember. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat. It’s that kind of place. We don't have a big sign or fancy lights. Ramamurthy Nagar has changed so much since I first moved into Nagendra Nilayam. There are more cars now and the roads are busier. I spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by. It’s a one-man show mostly, though I have help sometimes. I’ve lived in this city my whole life and I like this corner of it. It feels like home. When the power goes out, we just sit outside for a bit. There’s no point in rushing things. We do our work, talk to the locals, and head home when the day is over. It is a simple life and I enjoy the routine.
