N. Sriram

My name is N. Sriram and I work out of my place here in Nagavarpalaya. It’s Flat No.103 in the Geethanjali Classic building. Bangalore is getting more crowded every day, but this spot stays relatively okay. I’ve been set up here for a good amount of time now. It’s not a big corporate office with a receptionist. It is just me and a couple of desks. I handle a lot of different things depending on what is needed at the moment. Some people might find it odd that a business is run out of an apartment building, but it is quite common these days. It saves on the commute, which is a blessing in this city’s traffic. I usually start my day early before the noise picks up outside. The neighbors are nice and they know what I do. I don’t spend much on advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people to my door. Dealing with clients takes up most of my afternoon. I try to keep things simple and clear. There is no need for big words or long meetings that go nowhere. We just talk about what needs to be finished and then I get to it. Living and working in the same area means I know the local shops well. It’s a quiet life but I like it. I plan on staying here for as long as I can. Sometimes the balcony gets a bit dusty from the construction nearby, but that is just Bangalore for you. I keep the tea kettle running and stay busy with my files and phone calls.
