N Shashi Bhushan

I set up my place here at 16 Kamakshi Palya in the 4th Block. Being right on the 80 Feet Road means it is never really quiet at any time of the day. The police station is just down the road from us, so there are always sirens or people moving about. I have lived around this area for most of my life and moving the work here just made sense to me. N Shashi Bhushan is what the sign says, though most people just walk in and start talking before they even see it. It is not a corporate office. It is more like a room where I keep my files and meet people when they need help with something. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but I haven't found the time or the energy to do it. There is a small tea stall around the corner where I go at least twice a day. The regulars there all know me by name. It is a very local kind of life. My desk is an old wooden one that actually belonged to my father. It has got scratches and coffee rings on it, but it does the job. I do not like to overcomplicate things. People come in, we talk about what they need, and I see if I can help them. No big presentations or fancy brochures here. If you are looking for the police station you will probably see my door on the way. It is a busy stretch of road but it feels like home.
