N N S Collections

N N S Collections is right at the junction where S V Road meets Mathuradas Road. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We’re over in Koramangala at number 80, and you can’t really miss the corner. There’s always something going on outside. The shop is filled with all sorts of things we’ve picked up over time. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get more than four or five people inside at once. We don't really have a fancy display system; we just put things where they fit. My sister helps out on the weekends when it gets really crowded. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but it gives the place a certain feel. People often wander in just because they’re passing by the junction. We spend a lot of time organizing the shelves, but somehow they always end up looking a bit messy again by the end of the week. It’s a lively neighborhood to be in. You get to meet all kinds of people. Some days the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we’re always cleaning. We don’t really do any big advertising. People just see the sign when they’re stuck at the traffic light and decide to pop in. It’s been our little corner for a while now and we like it that way. It's a lot of work, but we've been here long enough that it's just routine.
