Our place is at 80 Kumbarpet GIDC in Waghodia, right across from the Auto Tower. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always a lot of noise from trucks and machinery nearby. The building we are in is quite sturdy but old. Inside, we have shelves lined with thick law books that have gathered a bit of dust over the years. There are two main rooms and a small area where we keep the typewriter and the printer. The printer is a bit temperamental and sometimes jams right when we are in a hurry. We spend a lot of time reading through documents and writing notes on yellow pads. It’s not a polished law firm like you see on television. Our chairs are mismatched, and the ceiling fan wobbles a little when it’s on the highest setting. We have a small table where we sit with people to go over their paperwork. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers from the last week sitting in the corner. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a jar of instant powder and a hot plate. It’s a very functional space meant for working, not for showing off. Most days are spent quiet, with only the sound of turning pages or the traffic from the road outside. We’ve been in this Kumbarpet location for a good while now, and we’re used to the grit and the bustle of the industrial estate. It's just where we do our business.
