The office is tucked away at 1776 Vijaya Nagar. It’s a place where we’ve spent a lot of hours over the years. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of the shutters going up and the first round of tea. N B Shivananda And Associates isn't some glass tower office; it’s a local spot where the desks are a bit cluttered with folders and pens. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking over documents that people bring in. The street outside can get quite loud with the traffic, especially in the afternoons when everyone is heading home. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask a quick question. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with expensive magazines, just a few chairs for whoever is coming by. The lighting inside is okay, though we rely a lot on the windows during the day. It feels like a regular workspace where things just get done at their own pace. Most of the staff has been around for a while, so we all know where everything is kept, even if it looks messy to someone else. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where we usually go when we need a break from the paperwork. It’s just how things are here in this part of town, pretty quiet and steady most of the time without too much unnecessary fuss.
