We’re located out on Begur Main Road in Bommanahalli. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic there, you know exactly where we are. It’s a busy industrial and residential mix, which suits us just fine. We specialize in knits and general apparel. Most of our day is spent around the knitting machines or checking the finishing on the t-shirts and sweaters. It’s a noisy environment, but there’s a good rhythm to it. We’ve been operating under the My Choicee Knit & Apparels name for a while now. It’s a bit of a funny name with the extra ‘e’, but it’s stuck. We aren't a high-fashion boutique with fancy chairs and soft music. We are a production house where work actually happens. The floors are concrete and the lights are bright. We have a team of workers who really know their machines. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big batch of garments, but that’s the nature of the knitwear business. Bommanahalli is a tough place to work sometimes because of the dust and the heat, but we’ve made a home here. We don't have a PR team to make us sound important. We’re just a bunch of people making clothes on a busy road. We focus on the thread, the fabric, and making sure the boxes get loaded onto the trucks on time. It’s basic, it’s hard work, and it’s what we do every single day. The tea is pretty good at the shop next door.
