Our shop is called Muthas Jewellery & Novelties and you can find us at number 100 in the Radha Krishna Textile Market in Mamulpet. Being inside a textile market means we are always surrounded by rolls of fabric and a lot of noise. It is a very lively place where people come from all over to shop for clothes and accessories. We have been in this spot for quite many years. The shop is relatively small, so we have to make sure every inch of the shelves is used. We have all kinds of jewellery and small items that people like to buy. It’s a lot of work keeping everything clean because the market gets quite dusty with all the foot traffic. We spend our days showing different pieces to customers and talking to the other shop owners nearby. There isn’t a quiet moment until the market closes for the night. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. We just have our small counter and our display cases. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character. We enjoy being right in the heart of Mamulpet because there is always something interesting happening. We open early to catch the first wave of shoppers and we don't leave until the last stall around us starts to shut down. It is a busy, hectic, but good life here.
