We operate out of a small spot at 1 Banaswadi on Bhuyangdev Cross Road, right in the Coconut Garden area. Most of what we do involves looking at land and thinking about how to build things that people actually need. It’s a lot of walking around sites and talking to contractors about bricks and cement. Banaswadi is growing fast, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the Coconut Garden area lately. It used to be much quieter, but now there are more houses and shops everywhere. We aren’t a massive firm with glass buildings; we’re just a few people trying to make sense of the local property market. A lot of our time is spent dealing with permits and checking on construction progress to make sure things are moving along. It can be frustrating when the rain stops work for a week or when materials don’t show up on time. We just deal with those headaches as they come. Our office is pretty simple, just some maps on the wall and a few desks. People usually come by to ask about plots or to see if we have any new projects starting up. We prefer to talk to people face-to-face rather than over long emails. It’s just how we’ve always done things here. We know the soil and the streets in this part of town pretty well by now. It’s hard work, but seeing a building actually go up is a good feeling.
