I have been running things from Kasturba Road for a while now, specifically inside the Shailendra Tapodham Housing Society in Mukund Nagar. It is a much quieter setup than being out on a main commercial street. My office is basically a converted space that feels a lot more like a home than a business. You have to come through the main gates of the society to find me. There are usually kids playing nearby or neighbors chatting near the entrance, which makes the whole day feel a bit more relaxed. Inside, I have my desk, a computer that is a few years old, and a lot of books piled up in the corners. I prefer it this way because I can focus without the constant sound of heavy traffic. Most people who come to see me are from around this area, so we often end up talking about local news before we even get to work. It is a very personal way to do business. I handle all my own filing and phone calls, so if you call, you are talking directly to me. Mukund Nagar is a nice part of town, and being tucked away in a housing society means things stay pretty predictable. It might not look like a big corporate operation, but it is exactly the kind of practical environment that suits the way I like to work.
