My office is up on the 3rd floor of Mittal Towers, right on MG Road. It is a busy building with a lot of people going in and out of the elevators all day. Inside, it is mostly just walls of books and stacks of paper tied with red string. I have spent a lot of years sitting behind this wooden desk reading through legal documents and court filings. MG Road is always noisy, but once you get up to the third floor, it quiets down just a little bit. I usually start my day early, going through notes before heading out to the courts. Clients come in and we sit around a small table to talk about their cases. There is always a kettle for tea in the corner because the days can get quite long. It isn't a flashy corporate law firm like you see in movies. It is more of a practical place where we deal with real-world problems. Sometimes the filing cabinets get so full I can’t find what I need right away. The building itself is an old landmark in the city, and being here puts us right in the middle of everything. I do not have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most people just find me by word of mouth or by seeing the name on the directory downstairs. It is just me and a couple of assistants trying to keep up with the paperwork and the deadlines. (251 words)
