Mukesh Ramnane

This place is at Door No 5 on Fourth Main in Atmananda Colony. It’s part of the Sultanpalia area near RT Nagar. A good landmark for us is the Honeyland Bakery nearby; we usually tell people to look for that if they get lost. Mukesh Ramnane is the name of our setup here. The building is a regular house that’s been used for our work for a while now. It’s tucked away in a residential street, so it’s not super obvious from the main road. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the files and equipment we have managed to fit in over the years. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls. We have old wooden desks and bookshelves that are overflowing with papers. Atmananda Colony is a quiet place for the most part, though you can hear the bikes going by on the way to Gorai. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us handling the daily grind. Sometimes the internet is slow or we run out of tea, just regular daily life stuff. We don't really do any promotion. People usually find us because they live in the colony or someone at the bakery pointed them in our direction. It’s a practical, no-frills environment where we just try to keep up with the work that comes our way. We usually keep the windows open, though it gets a bit dusty from the road. It is just a regular house turned into a workplace. We have a small bench outside.
