Msc Software

We are over here at Msc Software, which some people might know as being under the Hexagon umbrella these days. It is a software place through and through, meaning most of our day is spent staring at screens and typing away at code or checking simulations. The office environment is what you would expect from a tech setup, lots of computers humming and coffee mugs sitting on desks everywhere. Some of us have been here since before the Hexagon change happened, so we have seen the team grow quite a bit over the years. It is interesting to see how the software we work on actually gets used by engineers out in the real world to build things like cars or planes. We don't really have a big public storefront since our work is all digital, but the building is usually buzzing with people heading to meetings or grabbing a snack from the breakroom. The commute can be a bit of a drag depending on the traffic, but once you get inside, it is a pretty focused atmosphere. We try to keep things relaxed among the staff because the work itself can get pretty intense and detailed when deadlines are close. It is not always perfect, sometimes the servers go down or a project takes longer than we thought, but we just keep plugging away at it until the job is done. There is always someone around to help if you get stuck on a problem.
