M/S Pragathi Design Consutants is based in Bangalore at 3/2 Afaq Manzil in the Marappa Block of Jc Nagar. Our office is in a part of the city that still feels a bit old-fashioned compared to the tech hubs. It is a small space but it fits what we need for our design work. The building itself has its quirks like the narrow stairs and the way the light hits the desks in the afternoon. We have drawing boards and computers squeezed into the rooms and there is always coffee brewing somewhere. Bangalore weather is usually nice so we keep the balcony door open when we can. Working in Jc Nagar means we are close to everything but tucked away enough to actually focus. We aren't interested in being a big corporate firm with hundreds of employees. We prefer the way things are now where we can all talk to each other without sending an email first. There are plenty of papers and sketches lying around which might look messy to an outsider but we know where everything is. We take our time with the work and try to stay away from all the rush of the city. It is a humble place and we are quite content with how things are going in our little office. We just keep our heads down and focus on the designs we have to finish.
