Our factory is at Survey No. 47/2 in the Chenngappa Industrial Estate. It is out in Sunkadkatte, near the Vishwaneedam Post on Magadi Main Road. Being in an industrial estate means it is always loud and there are always trucks moving around. M/S Flexi Foil Packaging Pvt Ltd. is where we make all sorts of wrapping and foil products. The smell of the machines and the sound of the rollers is what we hear all day long. It is hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but it is what we do. We have a lot of big rolls of material sitting around the warehouse. We aren't some sleek office in the city center. We are a manufacturing unit with grease on the floor and workers in overalls. The road out here near Magadi is often under repair, so getting the deliveries out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have to plan our routes carefully to avoid the worst traffic. Our team is mostly people from the surrounding areas who have been with us for years. We don't have fancy titles or big meetings. We just look at the production schedule and get the machines running. It is a very hands-on environment. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. We take pride in the fact that we actually make things here. It is a busy, dusty, and honest way to make a living in the Sunkadkatte industrial area.
