M/S Cmdpl, Getit Yellow Pages Group

Our office is located at number 4, on the I Main, 6th Cross in S. R. Nagar, Bangalore. We are part of the Getit Yellow Pages Group, specifically operating as M/S Cmdpl. If you know Bangalore, you know S. R. Nagar is a busy place with a lot of small businesses packed together. That is basically what we deal with—lists and directories of businesses. It is an old-school kind of job in a way, keeping track of who is where and what they do. We spend a lot of time checking addresses and making sure phone numbers are still correct. The office is full of old directories and stacks of paper. It is not the most modern looking place, but it works for us. We have a small team of people who have been doing this for years. We know the city pretty well because of the work we do. Every day is about managing data and talking to local business owners. Sometimes it gets a bit repetitive, but it is an important thing to have these records right. We do not have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, update the lists, and try to keep everything organized. The traffic outside our window on the I Main can be pretty loud, but we just get on with it. It is a straightforward business, run by people who have been in the neighborhood for a long time.
