Motherland Garments Pvt Ltd is located at 75 Lakshminarayanapuram in Binnipete. We are right opposite the Magadi Road Metro Station. It’s a very handy spot because of the train. You can see the station entrance from our front door. The area is called Binnipete, and it’s always got something going on. Inside our building, it’s all about the garments. We have several floors where the work happens. It’s a lot of walking up and down. The machines make a constant humming sound that you stop noticing after the first hour. We deal with a lot of fabric rolls, mostly heavy ones that take two people to move. The windows stay open mostly to keep the air moving. We’ve got a small crew of regulars who have been here since the start. It’s not the cleanest place, there's always bits of string and dust on the tiles. We take our breaks in the small space near the stairs. The traffic on Magadi Road is pretty bad in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap up before the worst of it hits. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do the work that comes in. If you come by, you’ll probably see us unloading a truck or checking the quality of a batch of shirts. It’s just a regular garment factory life here in Binnipete. We’ve been here for years now and the neighbors know us well.
