About Motherland Garments Private Limited – Fashion & Trends in Bengaluru
We've been at No. 75 on Magadi Road for a while now. If you come by the Metro station, you’ll find us easily. It’s always a bit noisy around here with the trains and the traffic, but we got used to it. Inside Motherland Garments Private Limited, it's mostly just the sound of sewing machines going all day. Some of us have worked here for years. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. The stairs can be a bit steep, so watch your step. We mostly handle bulk orders for shirts and trousers, piling them up on the big wooden tables in the back. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back. It's not a fancy office or anything. There’s fabric scraps on the floor and lint in the air. We keep a small kettle for tea in the corner because everyone gets tired around four. It’s a busy spot. You see people rushing to catch their trains outside while we’re just inside working through the stacks of cotton and polyester. We don't really have a big sign, just the address. It’s a plain building, but it’s where we do our work every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot since the Metro came in. It's faster to get around now, which helps when we need to run out for supplies. We just keep our heads down and get the stitching done.
