My office is located in the Swastik Industrial Estate. It is part of the Gayathri Nagar area, right on Goddeo Road. Since it is an industrial estate, things are always a bit noisy with trucks and people moving about all day long. My specific spot is 3208/25/1. It’s a very practical location for this kind of work. I spend the bulk of my day sitting at my desk, going over numbers and making sure every form is filled out correctly. It’s just me and a little bit of help when things get really busy. The office is pretty basic, just a place for me to keep my ledgers and keep the computer running. I grew up not too far from here, so I know these streets like the back of my hand. Most of the people who come in to see me are running businesses in the industrial estate themselves. We usually talk over a glass of water or tea while I flip through their folders. There is quite a lot of dust that comes in from Goddeo Road, so I find myself wiping down the desk and windows pretty often. But it’s a good place to be. It is quiet enough inside for me to focus when the tax season starts getting close. I don't have any interest in big corporate stuff. I just want to make sure the accounts are sorted out for the people who come here. They know where I am if they need their papers done.
