Mohan Engineering Works

You can find Mohan Engineering Works over in Basavanagudi on Krumbigal Road at number 172. It is an old part of town and our workshop fits right in with the rest of the buildings around here. The place is full of heavy machinery and the smell of oil and cut metal is always in the air. We do a lot of lathe work and general engineering repairs. It’s noisy work, especially when all the machines are running at the same time. We have a big sliding door that we keep open to let some air in, otherwise it gets too hot inside. Most of the jobs we get are from local businesses or individuals who need a specific part fixed or made from scratch. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a desk in the corner covered in drawings and invoices. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the day, so we have to spend some time sweeping it all up before we go home. It’s hard work and our hands are almost always dirty, but it is what we know how to do. We have been at this address for a long time and have seen many people come through these doors with all sorts of mechanical problems. We just take it one job at a time and try to get things done as they come in.
