Mohammed Farooq

Mohammed Farooq here. I have been running things from this first-floor spot in the Modi Mosque Complex for quite some time now. It’s right near Indian Express, so most people know the area well enough. Finding the place is usually fine, though Tasker Town gets a bit crowded during certain hours of the day. Up here on the 17th Cross, it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main road, which I prefer. I spend most of my days here taking care of whatever comes through the door. It’s not a huge setup, just me and a couple of others usually. We have the 6th B Main right outside. My family has been around this part of town for years, so it felt right to set up shop here in the 2nd Stage. The building itself is old, but it does the job. I usually start early before the heat gets too bad. People drop by, we talk, we get the work done, and that is about it. I don’t go for anything fancy or complicated. If you are looking for us, just head toward the mosque and look for the stairs. It is simple, really. Sometimes the power goes out, or the stairs get a bit dusty, but we keep moving along. It is a decent living and I like the people who live around here. We have everything we need right in this corner of the city. We’ve been here through the rainy seasons and the hot summers without much changing.
