You can find us at 279 N M Joshi Marg, right along Kengalhanumanthaiah Road. It’s a busy intersection and there is always a lot of noise coming from the street. Modern Testing Service India Pvt Ltd is where we do our daily work. We have a lot of machines and lab equipment squeezed into the space. It’s not a very pretty office, to be honest. We have crates and samples stacked up in the hallway because we run out of room sometimes. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking back and forth all day. We don't have a lot of time for small talk because there is always another test to run. Usually, someone is wearing a lab coat and looking at a screen. We don’t do any of that fancy marketing stuff. Most of our work comes from people who just know we are here. Sometimes the traffic outside is so bad that it takes forever for samples to arrive. We just deal with it as it comes. We have a small break area with an old microwave and a fridge that makes a weird humming sound. It’s a practical place to work. We focus on the results and getting the reports filled out. It’s not a flashy life, but it’s what we do here every day at 279.
