Modern Seeds Corporation

Modern Seeds Corporation is located at 14 Swami Vivekanand Road in Benson Town. It’s a bit of an older building, but it serves us well. We deal in seeds for farmers and gardeners. The shop usually smells like earth and dried plants. We have shelves lined with packets and some larger sacks on the floor. It’s not a high-tech facility, despite the name "Modern." We mostly just provide what people need for their fields or backyards. People come in with all sorts of questions about what will grow best in this soil or that season. We try to help out based on what we’ve seen over the years. It’s a slow-paced kind of business compared to the city life outside. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know a bit about plants. The office part is just a small corner with a phone and a computer that’s a few years old. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Most of our customers are folks who have been coming to us since their fathers were farming. We’ve seen the neighborhood change from quiet lanes to busy roads, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We spend our days counting packets and talking to the regulars who drop by for a chat. It’s a quiet, steady life here on Swami Vivekanand Road. We’re usually open until the evening, just doing our thing and waiting for the next season.
