Modern Krishi Yantra

You can find us at 37 Jayanagar 3rd Main, right there in the 1st Block. We are on East Byrasandra Anjaneya Temple street, so it's usually pretty easy to find if you know the temple area. Modern Krishi Yantra is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It gets a bit noisy with all the machinery, but that's part of the work. Most of the folks who come here are looking for help with their tools or need something for their farms and gardens. We aren't a big showroom with lights and air conditioning. It is mostly just us in our work clothes, trying to figure out why a machine isn't starting or showing someone how a new piece of equipment works. The street can get crowded during festival times because of the temple, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve been at this for some years. My nephew helps out with the heavy lifting and we have a couple of guys who are good with their hands. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk to the regulars about the rain or the prices of crops. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a marketing guy or anything like that. People just hear about us from their neighbors. If you need something, you just come by and we'll see if we have it on the shelf. We don't use fancy computers for much besides the basic billing.
