Mobile One

We have been running Mobile One here at the Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar GIDC Estate for quite a few years now. It is just a basic shop where we deal with mobile phones and all the small things that go with them. The GIDC estate is a busy place, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the nearby units. We aren’t a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just a couple of desks and some tools in the back for repairs. People from around the estate usually drop by when they have a cracked screen or if their battery isn't holding a charge anymore. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded because it isn't very large. We have a few shelves with cases and chargers, but they are often a bit messy. It’s a real place where work actually happens every day. We know most of the people who work in the other units nearby. They come in for a chat or to get a quick fix. Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar has changed a lot since we first opened, but we’ve stayed right here. We don't spend money on big ads. Most of our customers just know we are here in the estate. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It is just a regular local business doing its thing.
