M.M. Raj Hardware

We’re over at M.M. Raj Hardware, located at number 33 on 16th Main. We’re right opposite the Mahadeshwara Bus Stop in B.T.M. Layout, 2nd Stage. It’s a good location because the bus stop is a major landmark and everyone knows it. Our shop is full of all the things you’d expect to find in a hardware store. There’s tools, nails, paints, and a hundred other small items that people need for their homes. The shelves are pretty high, and sometimes we have to climb up a ladder to get what a customer wants. It’s a bit dusty, and there’s always that smell of metal and oil in the air. We don’t have any marketing experts or a social media manager. It’s just us behind the counter. We’ve been here in B.T.M. Layout for quite some time now. We see a lot of DIYers and local contractors coming in. Sometimes the shop gets so full of people that it's hard to move around, but we manage to serve everyone. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show people where the items are and tell them the price. It’s straightforward work. If we don’t have something, we try to tell you where you might find it. We just want to keep the shop running and help the neighborhood. It’s a simple life, and we like being part of the local community here. We close up at eight and do it all again tomorrow.
