We’ve been running Mathaji Hardware And Sanitary here at 225, Anubhava Nagar for a good number of years now. If you know the Nagarbavi Main Road, we’re right across from the SBI branch. It is a busy spot, especially in the mornings when people are heading to work or stopping by to grab a few things for their home repairs. Our shop isn't fancy, just shelves filled with pipes, taps, and all sorts of hardware bits that folks need. Most days it’s just us moving boxes around or helping a neighbor figure out which washer fits their leaking sink. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. Sometimes the traffic outside gets pretty loud, but we’re used to it. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand, so you might have to squeeze past a stack of buckets or some PVC pipes. We don’t do much fancy advertising; people just know we’re here by the big sign and the piles of stuff out front. Dealing with sanitary ware means things can get heavy and a bit dusty, but that’s just part of the job. We try to keep things organized, though some days it feels like a losing battle with all the small parts. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from the time we open in the morning until we finally close the shutters at night.
